New Features
Alerts for Grouped KPIs Now Triggered at the Group Level
Previously, a new alert created based on a custom grouped KPI (e.g. “Discounts by Employee”) was still based on the aggregated KPI value for the business day. For example, when users created an alert for when Discounts by Employee is greater than a specified figure, the alert would actually be triggered based on the total discounts amount for the business day, and would include all employees.
Now, alerts based on custom grouped KPIs will be triggered based on the grouped value, so in the example above, the alert will be triggered whenever the total discounts given by an employee in the business day reach the defined threshold.
Users can build their alerts as they’ve always done before by navigating to the KPI Builder app, and selecting Build Alert. In the example below, an alert will be delivered when an employee’s total discounts within a business day exceeds $20.

Upon subscribing to the alert in Reveal, users will be notified whenever an employee gives more than the specified amount of discounts in a day. Users can then click the alert to be taken to the list of discounted transactions generated by the employee.
