New Features & Improvements | Mobile
Mobile users can now update their Job Interests from their profile instead of in Settings. Other users can also view these interests.
Now, job notifications can be filtered by the interests that have been configured in the jobseeker’s profile. If the user were to select “Any,” notifications would not be filtered by interests. If Job Interests aren’t set in the profile, the user will receive a dialogue box offering to take them to edit his or her profile.
Previously, the only way to clear the alert badge number on the alerts page and app icon was to manually delete all the alerts. Now, opening the alerts page within the app will clear the alert badges.
Android Cluster Lists’ Behavior and Display
Android users can now tap a cluster of stores on the map to view each store individually. Interacting with, or tapping anywhere on the map will re-cluster the individual stores and take the user back to the map. Tapping a different cluster of stores will update the list on the screen to the stores in the new cluster. Preferred stores are listed at the top, followed by stores with jobs, and then stores without jobs.
Work History Screens
Work History screens are now in the same style/format as the screens in the iOS app.
New Features & Improvements | Web
Previously, Email Preferences were not displayed in a consistent fashion across all devices. Jobseekers can also now select whether or not to receive notifications of nearby jobs.
Previously, when a jobseeker applied for a position, he or she would receive a confirmation email and a list of suggested users to follow. The list of suggested users has been replaced with suggested jobs based on the job that was just applied for and its location.
Jobs Nearby Email
Jobseekers can opt to receive a weekly email which lists up to 12 suggested jobs the user hasn’t already applied to, and that are based on the preferred search radius of the home town, and match selected preferences. The user can now view the job details, and even apply for a job from the email.
Editing Jobs Interests via the Web
Jobseekers can update their Job Interests from their profile on the Web. Clicking the “Add Job Interests” button will reveal a side-panel where the user can check off his or her interests.
Once the Interests have been selected, they will display on the user’s profile in individual, blue boxes. They, of course, can click the “Edit” button anytime to make changes.
Composing Notes about Candidates
By clicking on a candidate’s profile, a side panel displays. From here, admin can select the Notes feature to view and add notes about the candidate in a side panel.
Candidate’s Profile Displays in a Side Panel
Previously, selecting a candidate’s row would display his or her profile in a pop up. Now, that information displays in a side panel.
Action Buttons in Side Panel
In addition to being able to leave notes, admin can now request an interview and change the status of a candidate from the side panel that displays when a profile is viewed.
Candidate Stats in Side Panel
Admin can click the numbers in the “Referrals” and “Endorsed” columns of a candidate’s row to view who has referred and endorsed them in a side panel.
