Your managers can block certain dates from requests. They may want to limit requests over holidays or special events. You can view any dates that they have blocked on HotSchedules.
Follow these steps to view blocked request days:
- Navigate to the Home tab of your HotSchedules account.
- Select the Request sublink.
- You will be able to view any days or shifts blocked from requests under View Blocked Days and Shifts.
- If your manager has listed a reason for the block, you will be able to view it here as well.
If you attempt to request one of these days off, you will receive an error pop up. It will let you know which request dates could not be added, and it will list that the reason as [Blocked].
