Update VAT Rates for Products

What's Changing?
A new tool in Enterprise Manager that allows VAT rates to be updated for master products.
Reason for the Change
Removes the need for customers to view details of each product/menu item to change their VAT rate. It will now be possible to do it all from one screen.
Customers Affected
All FnB Live customers.
Release Note Info/Steps
In Enterprise Manager, go to:
- Master Product List > Update Products
On the next screen, the VAT column will show the default VAT rates for products within the organisation, as well as any custom rates that have been set up,
- To change the VAT rate for a product use the drop-down in the VAT column accordingly and then Save Changes
The new VAT rate will then be applied to the product and update the menu item at both Enterprise and any Sites the product is assigned to.
- The Scheduled Data Change option can also be used to set up in advance and be applied on a given date

VAT rates can also be updated against Menu Items.
- Go to Menu Databank > Update Menu Items and update VAT rates against Menu Items in the same way

What's Changing?

To increase ease of use.

All FnB customers who have Enterprise and Site level access.
Release Note Info/Steps
Users can only access the Sites associated with their user profile (as normal) but can move between Enterprise and Site using this option.
Switching to Site Level from Enterprise Management
- Select Switch from the top-right corner

- Select the required Unit and then OK

- When at Site level, use the Switch button at the top-right corner of the screen
- Select OK to confirm, and to be logged back in to Enterprise Management
