Summary
To comply with security best practices, Trade Simple will no longer support connections using HTTP and will instead require connections using HTTPS.
This change will be effective from February 1st 2024.
What do you need to do?
- For web browser-based interaction with Trade Simple you should update any bookmarks you have saved to the HTTPS version in place of the HTTP version
- For example, if you usually use http://www.purchase.emea1.fourth.com/ to access Trade Simple you should update your bookmark to use https://www.purchase.emea1.fourth.com/
Please note: Fourth will put a divert in place which will direct any requests using HTTP to the HTTPS equivalent. However, it is still recommended to update the links, saved bookmarks and URLs that you use.
- For any connection to Trade Simple other than via the web browser user interface, such as interaction with Fourth's APIs, you should update any URLs (see below) to use the HTTPS version and test appropriately
Please note that for the below addresses/URLs, there will not be a divert in place. Calls to these URLs using HTTP from February 1st 2024 will fail.
These URLs should also apply to any connection using AS2.
