Certain pages of the Payroll module are now available in the new user interface (UI)

Payroll Module - New User Interface

• Enabled by default? - Yes - only for those customers using the new UI
• Set up by customer admin? - No
• Enable via support ticket? - No - please liaise with your Fourth contact to have the new UI enabled

What's Changing?

Redesign of the Payroll module’s user interface on the following pages - select from the list below to go straight to that section:

• P45 Administration - Search by Pay Run

• Pay Run Reconciliation V1
• Pay Run Reconciliation V2
• Rollback Pay Run For Selected Employees
• Rollback Entire Payrun

• P11 Details - P11 Report

 Please note: The Payroll module will continue to be refreshed into the new UI over the upcoming months.

 

Reason for the Change

To give the product a more modern look and feel, and to improve the overall user experience.

Customers Affected

The new UI is available for the Payroll, Rota, HR, Tronc, Tronc 2, Benefits, Pension, and Scheduling modules. 

 Please note: The new Payroll UI will default to 'Off' for all customers who do not already have the new UI enabled. To get it enabled, please liaise with your Fourth contact.

 

Release Note Info/Steps

All functionality within the system will remain the same. The main user experience changes are shown below.

There may be other minor changes to the Payroll module which are not detailed within this document.

Deduction Types

• To access the Deduction Types page, go to Payroll > Administration > Deduction Types

The user interface has been updated to align with the other modules within WFM UK.

The existing page is shown in Fig.1.

P45 Administration - Search by Payrun

• To access the P45 Administration page, go to Payroll > HMRC Data Exchange > P45 Administration > Search by Payrun

The user interface has been updated to align with the other modules within WFM UK.

P45 Administration - Search by Date

• To access the P45 Administration page, go to Payroll > HMRC Data Exchange > P45 Administration > Search by Dates

Pay Run Reconciliation V1

• To access the Pay Run Reconciliation page, go to Payroll > Pay Runs > Past Pay Run List > Find and Select a Past Pay Run > (New UI: Pages Links) > Pay Run Reconciliation V1

Pay Run Reconciliation V2

• To access the Pay Run Reconciliation page, go to Payroll > Pay Runs > Past Pay Run List > Find and Select a Past Pay Run > (New UI: Pages Links) > Pay Run Reconciliation V2

The user interface has been updated to be in line with the other modules within WFM UK.

Rollback Pay Run For Selected Employees

• To access the Rollback Selected Employees page, go to Payroll > Pay Runs > Current Pay Run List > Rollback Pay Run > Select Pay Run to Rollback > Select Employees to Rollback > Save > Rollback Pay Run For Selected Employees

The user interface has been updated to align with the other modules within WFM UK.

Rollback Entire Pay Run

• To access the Rollback Entire Pay Run page, go to Payroll > Pay Runs > Current Pay Run List > Rollback Pay Run > Select Pay Run to Rollback > Rollback Entire Pay Run

• To access the P11 Details (View P11 Row Details) page, go to Payroll > Employees > Employee List > Select Employee > Employee Payroll Info > P11 Details

P11 Details - Individual P11 Row

• To access the P11 Details (Individual P11 Row) page, go to Payroll > Employees > Employee List > Select Employee > Employee Payroll Info > P11 Details > Select a P11 Record (Bottom half of the page)

 Please note: Selecting a P11 record will trigger a pop-up window.

P11 Details - View Summary and Totals

• To access the P11 Details (View Summary and Totals) page, go to Payroll > Employees > Employee List > Select Employee > Employee Payroll Info > P11 Details > View Summary and Totals

 Please note: The top half of the View Summary and Totals screen and the View P11 Row Details screen are identical.

P11 Details - P11 Report

• To access the P11 Details (P11 Report) page, go to Payroll > Employees > Employee List > Select Employee > Employee Payroll Info > P11 Details > P11 Report

Please note: The P11 Report is a pop-up window from the P11 Details page. The body of the report looks identical to the classic UI but the change is within the header of the page for the new UI.
