Fuego: End User App Experience

This article has been created to show the key steps that employees will carry out when onboarding with the Fuego app.

Fuego App Experience

These steps and screenshots show you the onboarding experience for your employees.   

STEP 1 

What?

Employee downloads the app. 

How?

• Go to the Apple/Google app store and search for 'Fuego'
• Use a QR code from the flyers provided here

• Alternatively, select the banner at the top of the screen in the HotSchedulies app (if using) to be taken directly to the app in the relevant app store

STEP 2

What?

Employee creates a Fuego account and links it to their employment record.

How?

• The employee selects Create an Account 
• Following the steps, they search for their Employer and provide all the details for a Fuego account: Email, Cell Number, Home Address, etc, and select Link Employer

STEP 3

What?

The employee waits for employment to be linked.  

How?

Our support team will link the employment and email the employee once the next steps have been completed, or, if the employee registered for Fuego by selecting the banner in the HotSchedules app, they may be auto-linked to their employer.

STEP 4

What?

The employee completes their account setup and chooses which on-demand pay service they want to use:

Earned Wage Access
or
Tip Pay Out

How?

• Select Set Up On-Demand Pay from the dashboard

• Pick between the two services (this can be changed later if needed via the app)

Note: Employees can only switch between services at the start of a new payroll period. Employees will only be offered a choice of which service to pick if your organization offers both.

STEP 5

What?

Employees choose where they would like funds to go automatically (if they selected Tip Pay Out) or by choice for each wage draw, (if they selected Earned Wage access).

How?

• For TPO they select Set Payment Account and the options will be dependent on your organization’s configuration but often are the same options as for EWA.
• For EWA they select Draw Now and will be able to apply for a Fuego Card, link a bank account or a debit card
