Recipe Selling Price: 'Pending Selling Price' Functionality with Effective Date

What's Changing?

A recipe 'pending selling price', similar to' ingredient cost' pending price, can be entered and stored with an effective date. On the specified 'effective date', the selling price - Default FnB Site Sell Price, Sell Price (inc.) - will automatically update in RME. This update is part of the overnight maintenance process so recipe selling prices will typically be updated early in the day on the effective date. 

For Inventory customers, recipes updated in this way will be marked for export to the Inventory application and should update in Inventory early in the morning on the 'effective date'.

Reason for the Change

Increase ease of use. Recipe selling price updates can be entered in RME ahead of the 'go live' date for the new selling price.

Release Note Info/Steps

The new fields for recipe 'pending selling price' and effective date are located on a Recipe, Ingredients sub-tab.  Located at the bottom of the screen, there are several permissions required to see and edit the new fields.

To see the new fields, these Recipe permissions are required:

• View recipe details
• View pricing information
• View public
• Allow suggested sell price

To edit the new fields, these Recipe permissions are required:

• Edit public
• Edit Pending Sell Price

  When Edit Pending Sell Price is enabled and one of these permissions - View public / View pricing information / Allow suggested sell price is disabled, then the Edit Pending Sell Price permission will also be disabled.
