After creating a number of templates, you are able to group similar templates together. This allows you to apply all the templates at one time, instead of each one separately.
Creating Forecast Template Groups
Before you are able to apply Forecast Template Groups, you must have some to apply.
To create a group, navigate to the Scheduling tab, and click the wrench icon at the top-right of the page. From the drop-down menu that appears, select Templates.
In the model that appears, click Forecast Templates, then Manage Template Groups.
From the first drop-down menu, select Create a New Group.
Give the new group a descriptive title, and select all the appropriate templates from the schedule drop-down menus below. Save when finished.
Applying Forecast Template Groups
To apply a group, navigate to the week in which you’re working, and click the wrench icon at the top-right of the page. From the drop-down menu that appears, select Templates.
From the Select a Group drop-down menu, choose the appropriate group for your week’s sales forecast. Then, uncheck any schedules you do not want included in the application.
Click Apply when finished.
All the selected templates will now be applied to the week’s schedule. You can then go into each schedule, and adjust the shifts as needed.
