The Scheduler in HotSchedules has been designed to be help you get an efficient schedule posted as easily as possible. At the bottom of the Scheduler, there are a suite of reports that give you a bird’s eye view of your schedule as it currently stands. These reports only reflect the schedules you are currently viewing, based on the filters in effect.
Under Schedule Summary, you can see how many total shifts and hours you have scheduled each day, plus how much those shifts are going to cost. Clicking the arrows reveal the totals split into day parts. If you click the graph icon, you can see graphically what jobs make up each part of the total number of shifts, with scheduled hours shown on the left, and actual hours on the right. Hovering over each block shows me more details about that job.
Forecast Data shows how your forecast looks compared to what is currently scheduled. Moreover, actuals will be updated every day upon successful point of sale sync, if available.
Under Labor Budget, you can also see both scheduled and budgeted labor cost for each job per day, and see how they stack up against each other. Options on the type of information shown, like labor percentage, SPLH, and GPLH, can selected from this drop-down menu.
Labor Volume shows a couple of things. It shows, numerically, the average number of individuals working each day – both forecasted and scheduled. It also shows, graphically, how well your schedule reflects your forecast.
