Once you have a schedule created, you have the ability to copy the schedule over to another week, and then adjust that new schedule based on the needs of that week.
While within a schedule, click the Tools icon, and select Copy Schedule from the drop-down menu.
Using the calendar tools for each, select the source week, meaning the week’s schedule you want to copy; and the target week, or the week into which you’d like to copy.
Then, check the box next to each schedule you’d like to copy. Alternatively, select all, and click Copy.
- The target week must not contain any shifts, or the copying process will not work.
- Make sure that the labor budget and the sales projections for this work week have been applied. That way you have something to compare against when adjusting the schedule.
- It is recommended to copy a schedule over directly after posting the initial week’s schedule. That way, the copied week will mirror the first week without any of the shift transactions that may occur later on.
