Broadcast Messages are the first thing that both team members and managers see on their home tabs, and is an easy and efficient way to get announcements out to everyone working at particular store.
In the Messaging tab, under Broadcast Messages, click Create Broadcast Message.
In the window that appears, give it a title.
Then, select whether you’d like the message displayed in red text or less important black text.
Type out what you’d like the message to say.
Lastly, using the calendar and drop-down menus, tell HotSchedules when the message should expire.
To then post the message, click Post Message.
You are also able to edit or remove an existing posted Broadcast Message by clicking the appropriate link.
You can also use an archived message as a template for a new posting. Click the Double Paper icon in the Message Archive box, and adjust as necessary in the window that appears. Click Post Message when finished.
To delete an archived Broadcast Message, hover over the desired name in the Message Archive box, and click the Trash Can icon that appears.
The message will then be permanently removed from the list.
