HotSchedules Logbook encompasses a set of tools designed to help you manage each shift more efficiently. Entries in Logbook can be easily found when needed - from contact information, to daily events, to who did what when. Logbook’s tools are there for your management team; team members cannot read entries.
Every entry in the Digital Logbook is time, date, and author stamped. You are easily able to search for entries by keyword, date, team member, or even by importance. In addition, an entry is not able to be modified or deleted after the initial 24 hours, or until someone else has viewed it.

Navigate to the desired day using the calendar tool.
Search for Daily Log or Staff Journal entries here.
Clicking Weather will show you the forecast for that day. If the data is available, it will also show you how the weather last year may have affected your sales.
Clicking House Shifts shows you any suggested shifts that are still unassigned for that day.
Create a Staff Journal or Daily Log entry by clicking this button.
Clicking an entry in the left column will shows its details in the right column. Unread entries are marked in orange.
Leave a reply to any entry here.
Clicking the Eye icon will show you who else has viewed the entry, and when.
Upload and attach photos or documents associated with the entry. To download an attachment, simply click its name.
Please Note: Entries cannot be edited or deleted after the initial 24 hours, or until someone else has viewed the entry.
To create a Staff Journal or Daily Log entry, click Create Entry. You will then need to decide which type of entry you want to create. In the window that appears, select the date you’d like associated with the entry, and choose the appropriate options from each of the drop-down menus. After typing in your entry on the right, click the Send button.
Task Lists are recurring chores, while ToDo’s are specially assigned jobs with due dates. Task Lists are created in the Above Store Console, while ToDo’s are able to be assigned by clicking Add ToDo.
You also have access to a centralized event calendar, document repository, and contact information.
