What's Changing?
The 2021 version of the UK government-approved nutrition database, McCance and Widdowson, has been added as one of the nutrition database options.
Reason for the Change
To increase availability of the most up-to-date nutrition information for ingredients.

What's Changing?
The ingredient CO2 Value field will be renamed to CO2e per KG.
Reason for the Change
In future, this field will be used as one of the variables to calculate a recipe's CO2e values (e.g., per serving, per 100 grams). The field has been renamed so that customers understand that the value expected here is 'per KG'.
Customers Affected
All customers using the CO2 Value field (can be enabled by Fourth on request). Further details can be found in this release note.

CO2e, or carbon dioxide equivalent, is a standard unit for measuring carbon footprints.

What's Changing?
The new Recipe CO2 properties, which had been added and then removed from the response from GET/recipes, will be enabled again. When the request 'GET /recipes' is made, the response will include properties for recipe CO2:

Reason for the Change
For those customers using RME APIs, these properties will allow the management of the new ingredient and recipe CO2 values via the APIs.
