HS: Unposting Broadcast Messages

Overview

Broadcast Messages are displayed to users on the Home tab in HotSchedules. When a broadcast message is created, an expiration date is assigned and the message is automatically removed when that date is reached.

Managers can also manually remove (unpost) a broadcast message before its scheduled expiration date.

Unpost a Broadcast Message

To remove an active broadcast message:

1. Hover over the Messaging tab.
2. Select Broadcast Messages.
3. Locate the message you want to remove under Broadcast Messages Currently Posted.
4. Select Unpost.

Additional Information

Unposting a broadcast message removes it from view immediately and does not require waiting for the scheduled expiration date.
